Bee's Knees 🐝 🍯

Prohibition-era slang for “the best.”

Bee's Knees Cocktail

Prohibition was obviously a bad idea. The Bee's Knees cocktail came out of though so there's that.

Bathtub gin, which is amateur homemade gin that was usually low-quality, was popular during prohibition. Ingredients like honey and lemon were used to improve the bad taste of these experimental gins.

While this is a simple cocktail made from gin, honey syrup and lemon it can be changed up with different types of honey and non-alcoholic gins.

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Add the NA gin, lemon juice and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled

  2. Add the cannabis tincture to a coupe glass

  3. Pour the Bee's Knees mix into your glass

  4. Garnish with a lemon peel
